Ever since I can remember, I have been telling stories. I’m interested in the way communication informs social interactions and identity, and enjoy working with organizations and clients focused on social good and community ownership.
In my current role, I empower local entrepreneurs and small-business owners to advance their own stories by connecting them with the resources, networks and knowledge they need to succeed, while helping create a cohesive ecosystem of resources to equitably support greater Lansing’s visionaries at all stages of the small business journey. While I’m no longer in the day-to-day throes of the communications process, I see this role as an evolution of what I love most about communications: authentic connection and amplification of community stories.
If you’re looking for a creative communicator with a passion for building resilient, equitable communities (and a fondness for a good spreadsheet and project management system), I’m your girl!
